Ohori Park
This waterside park is located in the heart of Fukuoka City. A promenade surrounds a large pond, making it a popular spot for citizens to relax and enjoy walks and jogs. Visitors can also enjoy boating or simply unwind at a cafe, spending leisurely time surrounded by nature.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
This nationally renowned shrine is dedicated to Sugawara no Michizane, the god of learning. It attracts many visitors throughout the year, and is especially lively during exam season. The approach to the shrine is lined with souvenir shops and cafes, and strolling along while sampling the local specialty, Umegae Mochi (plum blossom rice cakes), is one of the enjoyable activities.

Fukuoka Tower
This seaside tower, standing 234 meters tall, is one of Fukuoka's landmarks. From the observation deck 123 meters above ground, you can enjoy panoramic views of Hakata Bay and Fukuoka city, with the scenery from dusk to night being particularly popular. Seasonal illuminations can also be enjoyed at night.

Kyushu National Museum
The Kyushu National Museum is a history museum located in Ishizaka, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is one of the museums operated by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage, an independent administrative institution, and opened on October 16, 2005. It was built behind Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on hilly land owned by the shrine. It is commonly known as "Kyuhaku" or "Kukoku."

Marine World Uminonakamichi
Marine World Uminonakamichi boasts a beautiful exterior designed with a white seashell motif. It reopened in April 2017 after renovations. There are many fun zones, including the "Genkai Sea Tank" themed after the seas of Kyushu, and the "Show Pool" where you can enjoy sea lion and dolphin shows.
